A welcome message from the ISAKOS President and the 2021 Program Chair

Given the significant impact of the pandemic and travel restrictions around the world, ISAKOS has made the carefully considered decision to transition from an in-person Congress in Cape Town to debuting the ISAKOS 2021 Global Congress--a virtually unique, and truly international online meeting.

ISAKOS is committed to bringing you the premier, international education from world-renowned faculty that ISAKOS is known for. ISAKOS 2021: Global will provide a myriad of educational opportunities, including a variety of new and cutting-edge surgical techniques and approaches to clinical management, combined with overviews of current controversies in orthopaedic practice.

ISAKOS 2021: Global will feature an innovative combination of engaging interaction with international experts, cutting-edge surgical demonstrations, and instructional symposia that will offer live Q&A with premier faculty and renowned local hosts. Throughout ISAKOS 2021: Global, participants will have the opportunity to chat and discuss with faculty during presentations and live discussions. Registrants also will gain online access to on-demand symposia and lectures, plus over 1,000 e-posters and paper presentations. As a bonus, registrants will benefit from 30 days of exclusive access to all content.

This ongoing pandemic has created some unforeseen economic hardship. We feel it, too. But that will not stop ISAKOS from advancing the global exchange of education, research and patient care.
