Hello and Bonjour my friends and colleagues!
It is my honour and privilege to welcome you to Quebec City for the 2019 CUA Annual Meeting!
Quebec City is the birthplace of culture in North America and home to the oldest hospital in the new continent, the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. With a great scientific program led by Wassim Kassouf (McGill University) and Naeem Bhojani (Université de Montréal), along with the fabulous organising committee led by Stéphane Bolduc (Université de Laval) we are certain that this will be a meeting that will be remembered and cherished. The scientific committee will ensure that the most important discoveries will be covered as well as ensuring a review of state-of-the-art management of common urologic problems our patients bring to us every day. Interaction, debates, lively discussions will be central to the scientific program. Canada is a world leader in every facet of urology. Many Canadian urologists in practice and in our training programs proudly present around the world and every June it is their opportunity to share their discoveries with their Canadian colleagues in their own country. Importantly, world experts invited to speak will complement and share their expertise and debate their views so that our patients get the very best there is to offer.
The CUA Annual Meeting is also an annual gathering of friends, an opportunity to get to know each other better, meet new people and visit different parts of our great country. You will discover or re-discover why Quebec City is often cited as one of the most beautiful and culturally rich cities in the world. Combine great hospitality, world class entertainment, some of the best food in the world and a beautiful French accent and we are set for a great time.
