56. Annual Meeting of The European Diabetes Epidemiology Group-EDEG 2022

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Steering Committee of EDEG and the National Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite all of you to join the 56th Annual Meeting of the European Diabetes Epidemiology Group (EDEG) which will be held from 2 to 5 April 2022 in Hersonissos, Heraklio Crete, Greece.

We are pleased to inform you that after two difficult years we will meet each other again at the 56th Annual Meeting of the European Diabetes Epidemiology Group (EDEG). We are more than happy to welcome participants with physical presence and we assure you that all health protection regulations set by the Greek Authorities will be strictly followed for Greeks and Visitors from all over the world.

The absolute priority of the Organizing Committee is the safety of all participants during the conference and protection of public health respectively. We will be monitoring all SARS-CoV-2 pandemic developments and we will keep you informed in case it is believed as necessary to hold the event exclusively online.

We believe that at the following weeks we will be able to inform you of all the health protection regulations that will be valid in Greece during the days of the meeting.

We are confident that the 56th Annual Meeting of the European Diabetes Epidemiology Group will represent an unforgettable personal and professional experience, and we look forward to welcoming you in Crete, Greece.
