It is our pleasure to invite you to the Mother City for 18th Biennial Congress of the Southern African Society for Human Genetics (SASHG). The congress will be held at the Century City Conference Centre from 3rd -6th August 2019.
The recent drought in Cape Town has increased our awareness of the important role the environment in which we live plays in our daily lives. With this in mind, the congress theme “Our Genes, Our Environment” explores the interaction between our genes and our environment, the environment in which we conduct our research and provide services, and the manner in which we disseminate genetic information to our patients, participants and communities.
We invite all researchers to submit abstracts for presentation. Students and postdoctoral researchers are also invited to present their research at the Young Researchers forum on the morning of the 3rd August 2019.
We look forward to hosting you in Cape Town.
