Greetings from Coimbatore Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (COGS)!
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me immense pleasure and pride to extend a warm welcome to all of you to YUVA FOGSI South Zone 2019 on the 29th, 30th and 31st of March 2019 at Le Merdien, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Women play significant roles in our society and in the development of our Nation in terms of Health, Academic excellence, Research and Development, Politics, the list is endless. Hence, we dedicate this year’s conference theme “Reaching New Horizons” to all the extraordinary talents.
On the first day, we will be conducting 6 captivating Pre Congress Workshops on real time scenarios from the field. The following two days, will be a knowledge fiesta which will include our outstanding scientific program with an interesting array of eminent speakers (both international and national) conducting talks, debates, discussions and symposiums on the most innovative and relevant topics.
Coimbatore is known as “The Nucleus of South India” due to its excellent connectivity with neighbouring cities such as Kochi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madurai, Mangalore by air, rail and road, and also its proximity to hillstations such as Ooty and Coonoor. The City is also called “the Manchester of South India” due to its extensive textile industrial and well-known traditional and pure silks. Home to the world-renowned Isha Yoga Foundation and the Adiyogi Shiva statue, alluring waterfalls and rich culture, will surely make you fall in love with the City!
