Dear Colleagues,

It is a great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate to the World Allergy Congress (WAC) in Lyon, France on December 12-14, 2019.

The World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the French Allergy Society (SFA) are pleased to present a special educational program, which will cover the different aspects of allergies. It starts with our red thread: Update your knowledge!
For each topic, all presenters will cover :
What we already knew
What we have most recently learned
What remains controversial
How can we fill the remaining gaps, the final unmet needs and how to strategize global collaborations in order to answer these questions?

Participants will clearly update their knowledge and go home with key messages.

Allergology is now a full specialty in France thanks to the tremendous efforts that the allergy community has put together. Our scientific committee has designed an exciting program with a special taste from the works of the French physicians’ community, and with taste comes the culinary tradition of Lyon.

Lyon, a city listed on the UNESCO World Heritage register is France’s most popular business tourist destination, outside Paris and is the world capital of gastronomy. Take a chance arrive early and enjoy the Lights Festival the week before. During four evenings, starting at 8 pm, the center of Lyon is transformed by lights and the imaginations of international artists.

For registered attendees, the networking cocktail dinner on Thursday, December 12, 2019, will be a pleasant time for an unformal gathering. We also hope you get the opportunity to stroll through the Vieux Lyon, climb on one of the two hills Fourvière and Croix Rousse, or walk along the pretty Saône or proud Rhône rivers.
