Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you all to our 3rd Vascular Medicine and Atherosclerosis Congress (VMAC 2021). After following the very successful launch of this joint meeting of the three leading societies focusing on atherosclerosis and its sequalea in Germany: DACH, DGAF and DGFF we teamed further up this year by incorporating the Working Group 41 (Atherosclerosis) of the German Cardiac Society (DGK).
In a novel format the all new VMAC 2021 Hybrid will take our mission to spread the latest news on knowledge on all clinical and scientific aspects of atherosclerosis and its associated sequelae. It will be held as a live moderated virtual event allowing online face to face participation from March 11th to 13th 2021.
Again we will centerstage two tracks through the congress: a hands-on clinical track and a true research track rendering our meeting as a prime target for both researchers and clinicians interested in the field.
We will provide you with a broad journey from bench to bedside featuring a plethora of hot topics and intriguing highlights from basic and clinical science, epidemiologic observations, and current state of the art clinical strategies and future concepts.
