The 7. IPPA World Congress

To my IPPA friends around the world,

I write with news about the 2021 IPPA World Congress. The IPPA World Congress will happen. We are going virtual next year, in July 2021, and more details will follow soon. We are also planning other exciting virtual conferences/events in 2021 that will allow for more speakers and presenters to share their work and insights with larger audiences.

With over 30 million COVID-19 cases worldwide, no vaccine as of yet, closed borders preventing us from preparing in a timely manner, and to ensure both the safety and health of our delegates, we have decided to postpone the face-to-face program in Vancouver until 2023. The next face-to-face IPPA World Congress will take place July 20-23, 2023. In the meantime, the Board is excited about proactively embracing technology and hosting the first-ever virtual IPPA World Congress in 2021. By moving to a virtual format, there will be no obstacles to planning and more opportunity for our global audience to participate without any risk. We look forward to providing an engaging platform to help you all connect and interact, and share information and collegiality in a meaningful way.

Are you interested in speaking or presenting as part of the virtual IPPA World Congress? Submit your abstracts and proposals by the extended deadline of November 10th, 2020. Our teams and volunteer committees are working hard to process and review every submission.
