INVITATION

The International Council of Medical Acupuncture and Related Techniques (ICMART) since its inception in 1983 has held an annual Congress, hosted by a member organisation and patronised by the ICMART.
The aim is to provide high-quality information in research, education and clinical practice of medical acupuncture.
In the early years the congresses were held in Europe because all the members were from European countries. The ICMART membership has grown to include members from the USA, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Australia and Japan. The 2004 Congress was hosted by the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (AMAC) in Sydney. In 15 years the Congress has been around the world and come full circle to Australia again where it will be hosted on the Gold Coast in Queensland. There will be a stream for dentists. A veterinarian stream is in the planning. Under Related Techniques will be lectures and workshops In Neural Therapy and lectures in TCM herbs. Information will be presented through lectures, workshops and posters.
AMAC will continue the fine tradition established by previous congresses.
