Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology Congress-SOLACI 2019

Dear SOLACI and SBHCI friends

I am delighted to introduce you the latest news of the organization of our joint congress to be held on August 1, 2 and 3 in São Paulo, Brazil. The venue will be the Frei Caneca Convention Center in downtown São Paulo.

In addition to the most prominent professors in this area from Brazil and Latin America, we will count on the participation of Faculties from the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), SCAI, EuroPCR, Duke University and Cleveland Clinic, among others.

Keeping in mind the training of future interventional cardiologists at all times, we will hold a PROEDUCAR course for fellows, opening the program with a session totally dedicated to them.

In addition to the national and international live cases, the program will give a close look on radial coronary angioplasty in specific scenarios such as acute coronary syndromes, chronic coronary disease, multivessel complex coronary angioplasty, bifurcations and total chronic occlusions.

An extensive Structural program will review aortic and mitral valve interventional cardiology, left appendage closure, as well as interventional therapy for congenital heart diseases in children and adults.

As it is always the case, the Nursing and Radiology Technician chapter will be comprehensive, aiming at the training of the “anonymous heroes” who are key for the practice and development of our specialty. We will soon send out the invitation for Abstract and Clinical Case Presentation, which are must in this type of events.
