International Conference on Precision Engineering and Sustainable Manufacturing-PRESM 2024

On behalf of all the committee members of PRESM 2024 and the Korean Society for Precision Engineering (KSPE), we would like to thank all guest speakers, session organizers, co-organizing societies, and governmental supporters for PRESM 2024, which will be held from July 7 to July 12, 2024, in Busan, Korea.

Since 2011, PRESM has been dedicated to developing precision engineering and sustainable manufacturing to benefit the global society. In the past few years, in-person attendance at PRESM has been limited due to the impact of COVID-19. However, starting from last year in Okinawa, Japan, PRESM was fully recovered as a face-to-face conference. The participants' passion last year reminded us of how valuable PRESM is to our precision engineering community.

Nowadays, the importance of "Smart & Green" is increasing in all fields, including precision engineering. The KSPE recently announced a new vision: "Precision Engineering for Sustainable and Prosperous Life, Forever," focusing on smart and green. PRESM 2024 aims to engage in in-depth discussions about the future of precision engineering and international collaborations, particularly in the direction of smart and green.

I sincerely hope that PRESM 2024 will be a fruitful academic conference for all participants. Finally, I would like to thank all the guest speakers who will give distinguished presentations despite their busy schedules. With your participation, we are confident that PRESM 2024 will be enjoyable and meaningful to everyone. Thank you.
