International Conference on Biomaterial-Based Therapeutic Engineering and Regenerative Medicine-BioTERM 2019

We are pleased to announce that BioTERM 2019 (International conference on Biomaterial-based Therapeutic Engineering and Regenerative Medicine) will be held at IIT Kanpur India from Nov. 28th to Dec. 1st, 2019. BioTERM 2019 will be organized by The Society for Biomaterials & Artificial Organs India (SBAOI) in association with Society for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine India (STERMI), Indo-Australian meeting of Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (ASBTE) along with division meeting of Tissue Engineering & Biomaterials (TEB) Division of Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB). The theme of the BioTERM 2019 is Innovation to Translation. The meeting will bring together experts, young scientists, clinicians, and industry from the wide and interdisciplinary backgrounds interested in biomaterials, tissue engineering, drug delivery, therapeutics, and regenerative medicine. The program will include specific plenary and invited lectures, talks, poster sessions, the young scientific forum for career development and much more.

SBAOI is one of the renowned societies of India in the area of applied healthcare-related research. The Society was formed in 1986 and registered under the Travancore-Cochin Act XII of 1955, (act for registration of literary, scientific and charitable societies) with the name Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs - India. Over the years SBAOI is organizing an annual meeting in the area of Biomaterials, Tissue engineering, Therapeutics, and Regenerative medicine to provide a platform for young minds to discuss and deliberate the current state of the art in the field. STERMI, an allied society of SBAIO, is a growing organization for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine in India. Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) is a non-profit organization established in 2008 to promote co-operation, on scientific grounds, between the scientists from academia and industry in the Asian region, for the general advancement of biotechnology as an interdisciplinary field of research and as a means of bringing the scientific development to the industrial level.

IIT Kanpur is one of the oldest institutions of engineering and sciences in India established in the beautiful city of Kanpur on the banks of river Ganges in the state of world-renowned Taj Mahal. Besides being the oldest commercial hub, Kanpur is a prospective tourist hub and a close destination for some famous places of Banaras, Lucknow, and Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh
