On behalf of the organising committee I would like to extend to you a warm welcome and an invitation to join us for the annual scientific meeting of the Fertility Society of Australia in Hobart, Tasmania, 14 - 18 September 2019.
The local organising committee has chosen “The devil is in the detail” as the theme for the 2019 meeting, as details are extremely important to both patients, their gametes/embryos and the health of resultant offspring. With this theme in mind, we have put together a tremendously exciting program. As well as consideration of established details, some of the sessions will also focus on aspects of what details we cannot see (Beyond Human Vision), while others will consider details associated with preserving the inherit viability of gametes.
To ensure we create a productive conference, we have invited many distinguished international and national experts who will undoubtedly stimulate vigorous debate at the meeting.
