Dear Colleages and Friends,
First and foremost, we pray for the fast recovery from the global viral attack of all our countries!
Amidst this, we are happy to welcome you to the First International Conference of the Asian Oncology Society this November 27 to December 2, 2020, virtually held from all over the AOS country members.
The main focus of the Asian Oncology Society is to accelerate the translation of innovative discovery from the laboratory to clinical level, advance regional scientific multidisciplinary collaboration as well as exchange best practices regionally and globally.
The theme of convention is "Cancer Prevention to Therapeutics: The Genomic Era". We have designed a scientific program to stimulate interest in evolving cancer care. There are plenary lectures by prestigious speakers and oncology paper sessions relevant to oncologists, physicians, researchers, students, trainees, nurses, with a best practice note on oncology care during COVID-19 times.
The conference is conducted under the auspices of the Asian Oncology Society and the Philippine Cancer Society as well as cooperating organizations such as the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology, Molecular Oncology Society and the Philippine Society of Oncologists and other oncology societies in Asia, such as the Korean Cancer Association.
Described as the Pearl of the Orient, the Philippines is a unique blend of diversity and homogeneity. Manila has been the heart and soul of the Philippines for four centuries and is the center of industrial development as well as an international port of entry situated in the Pacific region. Manila is the Host City of this 1st Virtual International Conference of the Asian Oncology Society.
