9. Annual Conference of Neurological Surgeons Society of India-NSSICON 2020

Dear Colleagues, Friends and Well-wishers,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 9th Annual Conference of Neurological Surgeons' Society of India - NSSICON 2020, to be held from 27th to 29th February 2020, at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata, the City of Joy and invite you to attend the gala meeting. This shall be a joint meeting in partnership with the American Association of South Asian Neurosurgeons - USA, Congress of Neurological Surgeons - USA and the Bangladesh Society of Neurosurgeons and we welcome with great pleasure our esteemed colleagues from the USA and across the eastern border for this meeting.

NSSICON 2020 aims to present excellent and informative scientific programmes including didactic lectures, a cadaveric workshop, panel discussions and interactive sessions on the latest in Neurosurgery including Neuroendoscopy and Minimal Access Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery and Neuro-oncology. We also aim to have a session on the social and economic aspects of Neurosurgery which are of interest to Neurosurgeons in their daily clinical practice.

NSSICON 2020 will also be an excellent platform for the new entrants in this field to learn about patient-friendly techniques from the masters. At the same time, it will also be a great opportunity for the established surgeons to revise their knowledge and learn about the further advancements happening in the field.

All the National and International Faculty members are respected names in their field and it will be a great opportunity for us to learn from their collective experience. Nearly 450 delegates from India and abroad are likely to participate.

The one-day Pre-conference Workshop is one of the main highlights of the conference and just a few vacant spots are up for grabs. Please participate whole-heartedly along with your team members, friends, colleagues and family to enjoy this academic feast. The weather in Kolkata the time of the year is likely to be very pleasant. The venue Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, billed as the “country’s largest business convention centre” is the best in West Bengal and its being located near the airport helps avoid the din and bustle of the busy city. There are plenty of accommodation facilities both within the venue as well as in the nearby star hotels.
