8. International Conference on Law and Society-ICLAS 2019

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the 8th International Conference on Law & Society (ICLAS 2019) that will be held under theme of “Law in the Digitalization Era”. The conference will take place on April 6-7, 2019 at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University Halic Campus, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The idea of the theme of the conference is arising from the fact that the digitalization is expeditiously spreading to all the fields of life and it has become an undeniable phenomenon of today’s world. This new phenomenon has also brought new problems, necessities, and new facts that the field of Law has to involve in. Therefore, we aim to monitor and discuss the new challenges to the field of Law in this new digitalization era and propose new solutions accordingly.

The conference is will be jointly organized by Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University and International Islamic University Malaysia and in academic collaboration with İstanbul University, İstanbul Medeniyet University, Süleyman Demirel University, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (Malaysia), and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (Indonesia).

Abstracts of your contributions, lectures or posters (150 up to 300 words), and a short CV (up to 100 words), and also your contributions by organizing sessions/panels are welcome till March 1, 2019.
