The increasing number of natural hazards in the last couple of decades around the globe requires the understanding and the investigation of the natural perils and the development of new ideas and innovative methods for providing knowledge, managing the disasters, and mitigating the loss.
Kahramanmaraş earthquakes on the 6th of February in 2023 force us to have a better understanding of the disaster, management, recovery and preparedness phases.
The 7th International Symposium on Natural Hazards and Disaster Management (ISHAD2025) will be held in Diyarbakır / Türkiye at 16-18 May 2025 in partnership with the Academic Platform, Dicle University, Bursa Technical University and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
The symposium aims at connecting academicians, experts, bureaucrats, administrators, institutions, students, local governments, and non-governmental organizations to facilitate the exchange of ideas on topics of mutual interest and to serve as a platform for connecting the stakeholders.
