7. International Congress on Adhesive Dentistry-IAD 2023

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are very proud to invite you to the Joint Meeting of 7'th International Congress on Adhesive Dentistry (IAD), an official international meeting of the Japanese Society for Adhesive Dentistry (JADS) and Turkish Society of Restorative Dentistry (RDD), which will be held at Selçuk University in Konya, Türkiye between 1st to 3rd of June, 2023. The theme of the congress is "The art of knowing is knowing what to ignore," which is derived from Rumi, the greatest Sufi mystic and the 13th-century Persian poet who lived in Konya and made the city a top-rated cultural center in the world.

This event will bring together and promote the international exchange of the latest concepts, innovative techniques, and development ideas in the field of adhesive dentistry, offering a unique opportunity for participants to interact with distinguished speakers and researchers. The scientific program features 15 distinguished lecturers from Japan, USA, Belgium, Switzerland, and Türkiye, who are masters in Adhesive Dentistry. Furthermore, the latest fundamental research in adhesion will be presented and discussed by Japan's leading experts, and, for the first time, a 'Biomimetic Dentistry Session' will be held at the congress. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their research as poster or oral presentations and discuss their results with international peers and experts. There will also be company presentations and exhibitions. We believe all participants will significantly benefit from the excellent scientific program of the congress.

Apart from the scientific content, the congress will also offer you a satisfying social program you will never forget. Rumi museum, Sema Ceremony by whirling dervishes, Çatalhöyük, an extensive Neolithic and Chalcolithic proto-city settlement in Konya, which was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and traditional Konya kitchen are waiting for you.

The congress will also have a post-meeting half-day Satellite Symposium, "Being a researcher in a foreign country," on June 4 in Cappadoccia. Participants who wish to include the satellite symposium of the congress in their calendar will be transferred on June 3 afternoon, just after the closing ceremony of the congress, to Cappadoccia.
