7. International Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications-COIA 2020

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications- COIA’05 was held in 2005 in Botanic Park, Baku, Azerbaijan. As it was noted by specialists this event was the most representative conference on these topics. A number of experts from over the world participated in COIA’05. Plenary talks were given by T.Rockafellar (USA), T.Basar (USA), A.Rubinov (Australia), B.Mordukhovich (USA), P.Pardalos (USA), Ch.Floudas (USA), V.Larin (Ukraine), F.Chernousko (Russia), V.Demyanov (Russia) and others. The 2nd conference of this series COIA’08 was held in 2008 also in Baku and was also attractive for the specialists from all over the world. Considering the interest of the scientists and on order to attract new countries and institutions, it was decided to organize the 3rd conference in the series abroad, and thus COIA’2011 was held in Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey in 2011. There the proposal of a group of mathematicians from Bulgaria was accepted and the 4th Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications-COIA’2013 was organized in Borovets, Bulgaria in 2013. By the decision of the organizers, the 5th COIA was held in Baku State University, Baku, Azerbaijan in 2015. The 6th COIA was held in 2018 also in Baku State University, Baku, Azerbaijan. The Organizing Committee of COIA-2020 is happy to host such a prestigious event in the beautiful city of Baku again. The 7th Conference on Control and Optimization with Industrial Applications-COIA’2020 will take place during August 26-28, 2020 in Baku, Azerbaijan. This conference will offer an excellent forum for discussion and exchange of ideas for researchers and practitioners in the field of control and optimization from all over the world.
