6. International Congress on Domestic Animal Breeding Genetics and Husbandry-ICABGEH 2022

Welcome to the official website of the International Congress on Domestic Animal Breeding Genetics and Husbandry-2022 (ICABGEH-22) to be held on October 03 - 05, 2022 in Samsun Turkey. The ICABGEH-22 is organized by Ondokuz Mayıs University, Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology, Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, and the Turkish Agricultural Engineers Association.

ICABGEH-22 is the sixth international event of a meeting series with the participation of top-rated invited speakers, and an annual International Academic Conference covers the main fields of animal science. The mission of ICABGEH-22 is to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, and other professionals worldwide to present their research results in animal science (animal breeding, genetics, farming, nutrition) and related topics (veterinary science, aquaculture, and laboratory animal).

This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and experiences, establish business or research relations, and find partners for future collaboration. The goal of our conference is also to support, encourage, and provide a platform for young researchers to present their research, network within the international community of other young researchers, and seek the insight and advice of successful senior researchers during the conference. The language of the conference is English. We welcome paper submissions, and prospective authors are invited to submit original research or review.

Samsun is the biggest city in Black Sea Region being 9.579 km² in size. Samsun, which is formerly known as Amisos in the Ancient ages, is the trading port of the region. All of the products that were produced in the region are imported from Samsun all over the world. First settlements in Samsun go back until Old Stone Age. A layer, found in Tekkeköy Caves which is thought to be from BC 60.000, is the oldest proves of life in the Black Sea Region that has been found until today. Also, it is the 3rd oldest settlement in Turkey and the 8th one in the world according to studies. We aim to combine scientific activities with an opportunity to meet the historical and gorgeous city of Samsun, which is one of the region's leading tourist and cultural centers. It would be possible for attendees to visit the modern and historical areas of Samsun during the city tour, which will be offered by organizers of the conference.
