6. EADMFR Junior Meeting

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 6th EADMFR Junior Meeting that will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, February 3rd-7th, 2019.

Our aim is to promote DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology in Europe, and to increase engagement in the academy and interest in the field of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology among colleagues in specialist training, MSc- and PhD studies.

Approximately 30 juniors will have the opportunity to meet, learn, exchange experiences and to network. You will find the admission guidelines in the following pages.

We believe that the meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to meet lecturers and colleagues from various countries and to share their knowledge and experiences. We also hope to create a memorable and rewarding experience for all participants.So far five Junior Meetings have been held in

Umeå, Sweden in 2014,
Freiburg, Germany in 2015,
Lublin, Poland in 2016,
Porto, Portugal in 2017 and
Budapest, Hungary in 2018.

Approximately 30 junior EADMFR members participated during each meeting. We have had many applicants for the previous meetings and the EC has decided to repeat the success by a 6th Junior Meeting. To give as many juniors as possible the opportunity to participate only those who did not participate in previous Junior Meetings can be accepted. A report from the meeting will be presented to the EADMFR members during the next ECDMFR in Jerusalem, Israel in 2020. Also, the participants of the Junior Meeting are encouraged to share their experiences of the meeting by preparing a report that they can present at their home departments.
