Dear Scientists,

There has been a pandemic process in which all people have been affected by social, education, economic and health issues, and this process is still continuing, although it slows down. It has been a difficult process. In this whole process, it was understood once again that perhaps the most important support and value in maintaining the future existence of human beings in a healthy way is science. In 2020, when the COVID19 pandemic has taken our lives captive with an intense effect, it has taken a place in your hearts with the slogan "For science, with the love of science, everything is real here"; We could not hold the 4th Annual Muğla Multidisciplinary Oncological Research Congress (AMORE 2020). In the next period, with the support of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Medicine Dean's Office, AMORE 2021 continued to be with you with two webinar series. Now, we are excited to invite you to the 5th Annual Muğla Multidisciplinary Oncological Research Congress (AMORE 2022), where we have the excitement of meeting face to face and sharing science together.

Let October 2022 be the date for us to reunite with the love of science! It can be thought that cancer-diagnosed patients, who experience the negative situations experienced by all people by fighting against cancer, experience more distress. Rapid developments in the field of oncology continued during the pandemic period. Just as the follow-up and treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer is continued with great care.

This time, we have planned a scientific feast where valuable international speakers will also take part. In addition, the traditional Medicine and Art (MEDART) symposium for our medical faculty students who receive medical education and will achieve great success in the future has also taken its place in the program.

In this congress, we will examine in detail the side effects of anti-cancer drugs used in the systemic treatment of cancer patients and their management. A program has been prepared to increase the knowledge and experience of Medical Oncology fellowships. We believe that this congress will also be beneficial for our colleagues in other disciplines, especially those in internal medicine and family medicine, who are faced with the side effects of treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer. Because a good side effect management is the basis of the effectiveness of anti-cancer drugs. For this reason, the management of the side effects and symptoms of cancer patients with cancer diagnosis will enable them to take the lead in their fight against cancer. We will be happy to see all scientists together in the treatment management of patients with cancer, where a multidisciplinary approach fully works.
