Dear fellow beekeepers and friends,
I wish to invite you to the 48th Apimondia Congress in Santiago, Chile. Mark your calendars and make plans to attend this international beekeeping congress in a beautiful setting. Chile offers a wide range of landscapes to explore either pre-or post-Congress: from the Atacama Desert in the north to beautiful Patagonia in the south.
The setting for this congress is Santiago, the capital of Chile, with the snow-capped Andes mountains as a backdrop. Technical tours will take you to nearby beekeeping operations along with the possibility to visit world class bodegas to taste Chilean wines. During the Apimondia Congress you can meet old friends and make new ones as you tour the ApiEXPO and/or take in the latest science and beekeeping ideas.
We face many challenges in beekeeping and the Congress will work to highlight sustainable beekeeping practices. The world has been turned a bit upside down in recent years with disruptions to travel and global health. This congress provides a wonderful opportunity to begin to return to normal, while enjoying the warmth and hospitality that Latin America has to offer.
