46. Annual Meeting of The Fetal and Neonatal Physiological Society-FNPS 2019

FNPS XLVI, the 46th Annual Meeting of The Fetal and Neonatal Physiological Society, will be held from 16-19 October 2019 at Vibe Hotel Marysville, outside of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia.

Since its beginnings as The Conference on Fetal Breathing organised by Professor Geoffrey Dawes at Oxford in 1974, the annual meeting of The Fetal and Neonatal Physiological Society has become a premier international gathering of scientists and clinicians concerned with all aspects of perinatology.

The FNPS XLVI program will be predominantly presentations of abstracts submitted by registrants, covering any aspect of pregnancy, fetal and neonatal physiology and development. Abstracts from researchers of any discipline (including epidemiologists, nurses, midwives, scientists, paediatricians, obstetricians) are invited. FNPS prides itself on providing a welcome atmosphere and opportunities for early-career researchers, so presentations of research at any stage of completion are encouraged. The society presents several prizes for students and junior postdoctoral researchers.

FNPS XLVI will continue the tradition of providing an affordable meeting in a beautiful setting. The registration fee, which is discounted for students, includes all accommodation, meals and social activities (including the famous secret ‘sporting’ event). For those of you travelling from overseas or interstate, we will arrange transport between Melbourne airport and the conference venue.

FNPS XLVI is deliberately timed immediately prior to the 11th Developmental Origins of Health and Disease World Congress, which will be held in Melbourne from 20-23 October. Together, these meetings provide a perfect excuse for interested researchers to visit the world’s most liveable city
