Dear colleagues and hernia friends,
In 2020 the European Hernia Society (EHS) planned its 42th face to face meeting in Barcelona, sadly, the pandemic forced us to cancel it. 3 years have gone, they have brought uncertainty and changes in many aspects of our lives. However, it is time to regroup and face new opportunities. The EHS offers us the opportunity to organize its annual congress face to face again. All our thanks to our beloved society. The place we have chosen is still Barcelona, of course, but this time in Sitges, a small town by the sea and very very close to the city. We believe that the sea can represent the transformation from storm to calm.
In this calm environment of friendship and collaboration we look forward to welcoming you to the 45th Annual EHS congress which will be held in Sitges/Barcelona, May 2023.
The conference will bring together experts, surgeons and industry related with any aspect of hernia patient surgical care. Industry will play a key role in the meeting. We plan for all attendees high-level scientific presentations to share knowledge with networking opportunities. The scientific programme with dates will be provided with keynote lectures, free paper sessions, posters and industry collaborative events.
