4. South East Europenan Emergency and Disaster Medicine Congress

On behalf of the Albanian Society of Emergency Medicine, It is an honor and a pleasure to invite you, to the fourth South East Europenan Emergency and Disaster Medicine Congress, in Tirana, on May 26-28, 2023.

The idea of a SEE congress was born 6 years ago in Athens, during the 11th EUSEM Congress. The congress first became reality in Belgrade, followed by Istanbul and then Thessaloniki. This year the Albanian Society of Emergency Medicine will host the fourth edition, in our beautiful capital city of Tirana. We are most grateful for the precious cooperation of the emergency medical societies of Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Türkiye (EMAT). I wish to specifically acknowledge EUSEM for their confidence and support.

It is through collaborative efforts such as this congress, that emergency medicine will strengthen and grow. We offer a forum to exchange experiences, ideas, and training practices to improve our capacities and to gain further knowledge in order to prepare to face the challenges of the future.

Tirana is a beautiful city, with a lot of history, and with loving and generous people.
