33. Waspalm World Congress and 24. National Clinical Biochemistry Congress

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that the XXXIIIrd WASPaLM World Congress and the XXIVth National Congress of Clinical Biochemistry will be held in Granada Congress Center, Antalya Turkiye, between 16 and 20 of October 2024.

The World Association of Societies of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (WASPaLM) has a mission to improve health worldwide by promoting the education and practice of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The Turkish Society of Clinical Biochemistry (TSCB), which became a member of WASPaLM in 1998, aims to improve the quality of laboratory services, which constitute a substantial part of the health services provided to the public by prioritizing education, also to serve the development of Clinical Biochemistry in Turkey and to shape the future of this medical specialty.

We are proud and excited to organize the World Congress in Turkiye once again after the XXIIIrd WASPaLM World Congress in 2005 in Istanbul.

Antalya, the beautiful city on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, is well known for its natural and cultural beauty, especially for historical places and the ruins of ancient cities.

The World Congress theme is “Laboratory Medicine: Creating Value for Patients”. The contribution of laboratory medicine to patient care will be discussed in the scientific program by invited expert speakers from both laboratory medicine and clinical medicine. The XXXIIIrd WASPaLM World Congress will include plenary sessions and symposiums. The scientific contributions of WASPaLM Constituent Societies are welcome. Undoubtedly, your oral and poster presentations will contribute to the scientific content of the World Congress.

We will be pleased to see you at the XXXIIIrd WASPaLM World Congress and XXIVth National Congress of Clinical Biochemistry.

It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the XXXIII World Congress of the World Association of Societies of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (WASPaLM), in Laboratory Medicine (WASPaLM), together with the XXIV Congress of the Turkish Society of Clinical Biochemistry (TSCB) to be held on October 16-20, 2024, Granada Congress Center, Belek, Turkey.

WASPaLM has as its main objective to improve health worldwide by promoting teaching and practice in all aspects of pathology and laboratory medicine. The contribution, recent advances and future directions in pathology and laboratory medicine are included in the Congress theme: Laboratory Medicine: Creating Value for Patients.

As a worldwide scientific association, WASPaLM proposes that its congresses be those of all its constituent scientific societies and associations. With this spirit, we invite you to participate, with your symposium, your residents, who are our future, in 3rd Meeting of Resident Physicians, with the challenge of scientific work, with ideas and proposals from all, for the development of our WASPaLM, which we deeply appreciate.

The joint WASPaLM and TSCB Congress will have several simultaneous halls and a wide technical scientific exhibition, to unite scientifically, academically and socially all Clinical Pathologists, Pathologists and Clinical Laboratory Professionals of the World. For which we have chosen the beautiful city of Antalya, between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, easily accessible, with air connectivity to all over the world. Its quality of life and friendliness will allow us to enjoy a pleasant stay.
