The Panamanian Association of Translators and Interpreters (APTI) is pleased to announce its Third International Congress on Translation and Interpretation. This multidisciplinary event will be held at the Panama Miramar Hotel, on March 29-30, 2019, in Panama City, Panama.
The theme of the Conference, “Innovation, challenges, and technological competitivity” highlights the cultural mediator role of translators and interpreters in the intercultural communication process.
Language reflects the society of which it is part in all aspects and in the way, it visualizes the world.
The governing Council of the International Federation of Translators (FIT) will hold its annual meeting in Panama, the first time that it will be held in the Central American region, which is an honor for us. FIT is the world’s voice of translators, interpreters, and terminologists of its member associations and groups more than 130 associations. APTI has been an active member since 1994.
We expect to gather over 200 national and international participants at this conference, among translators, interpreters, linguists, and people interested in the language industry.
We also want to highlight that there will be excellent opportunities for sponsorship, exhibition, and advertising to those interested in giving high visibility to their products and services through online and onsite promotion and marketing.
