Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Global Conference on Myositis (GCOM) is the premier international conference on inflammatory neuromuscular disorders. After the last two highly successful meetings in Stockholm and Potomac, we are delighted to host the third Global Conference on Myositis in Berlin!
The conference will be held from Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 of March 2019.
We are looking forward to a colorful and fruitful conference and expect around 300 attendees from all over the world working in the field of myositis research. The topics will cover multiple aspects of myositis and associated fields. Invited keynote speakers will summarize the state of the art on selected topics covering clinical, pathological, molecular and treatment aspects.
To further increase the attractiveness, we will conduct workshops for young physicians and researchers as well as patients. Moreover, the majority of time slots will be assigned to young scientists giving them the unique opportunity to present and discuss not yet published work. In addition, we anticipate to host the first ‘Speed-Funding’ opportunity at the GCOM, which is specifically dedicated to support research of young scientists in the myositis field!
Apart from the interesting meeting, Berlin itself is a wonderful city with very many opportunities to explore cultural and leisure activities in the evenings. We are sure that this aspect will enhance close interactions among the participants and create memorable moments.
