3. Congress of Aging Studies for Graduate Students-SENEX 2019

Senex: III. Congress of Aging Studies for Graduate Students brings together graduate researchers studying old age and the aging process from social, behavioral and health perspectives into an interactive discussion platform wherein they share with the scientific world empirical research, conceptual studies and methodological contributions.

Main theme of the Congress:
The theme of the Congress, to be held on November 1-2, 2019 at Akdeniz University, is “For the Next Generation: Welfare, Wellbeing, Equity, Employment, Health, Technology, Art, Education and Career”.

During the first and second of the Senex Congress olders adults have been handled within the concepts of health, care, education, income and social relations. After these two congresses where the reflections of thecrisis, inequalities and aging were discussed, it will be highlt significant to discuss the whole generations and the future. What do the next generations expect from future? In this scope, what kind of regulations, applicat,ond or arrangements can be realised? To provide a comprehensive, relation and finding-based approach requires an effective and interdisciplinary insight to the aging studies.The fact that The dialogue that will be establish among the scientists, researchers, professionals will be founded on the idas that have intellectual depth and are refined is determined as the main aim of the Senex: III.
