Each annual meeting of the GSI builds on past successes: newly established standards, a diverse and motivating scientific programme and a wide range of instructional courses to meet the varying needs of the delegates.
This scientific gathering attracts trainees, general ophthalmologists and glaucomatologists from India providing an informal, multi-cultural environment encouraging networking, sharing and exchange of intricacies involved in glaucoma care in India.
Lucknow, the city of Adab, Tehzeeb and Kathak, is also the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the cultural region of Awadh which flourishes along the banks of the Gomti river, is the ideal location to host the event.
