Dear EVER Members, friends, colleagues and fellow vision researchers,
The EVER Executive Board has considered the EVER 2020 Congress in September 2020 and has reviewed the situation with respect to all options available to us. In view of the serious international crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the EVER Executive Board recommend that we draw up contingency plans to move the 2020 face-to-face meeting to 2021. This is after due consideration of our contractual obligations and their potential financial consequences. The EVER Board has passed this decision unanimously.
Thank you all for your solid support across all the EVER Sections and for your commitment to EVER and the cause of vision research. We hope that we may all come together in Nice 30 September - 2 October 2021.
We hope that you can all stay safe and well at this unprecedented time of crisis.
