Esteemed Colleagues,
Founded in 1971, Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital ( TTMH) has been the hub of the medical care, research and education on the coastline of central Taiwan. As such, we are excited and honored to host the ERUS-in Asia Pacific conference conjoined with Tung Chuan-Sheng Cultural Educational Foundation.
As the first non-European country to hold this international conference, we hope this conference will be a springboard for Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital to be recognized as an excellent healthcare institution on the global stage, one where physicians and nurses from around the world can join and exchange their valuable experiences.
The conference theme “Meet the Experts, shorten your learning curves ”. We have invited several world-class experts in Urological and Gynecological robotic surgery to discuss the clinical application of the work in the innovative cancer treatment as well as current issues. It is our sincerest hope that all guests and attendees can take advantage of this 3-day learning journey to advance their knowledge and sharpen their skills.
Nurses, without a doubt, take a pivotal role on the frontline in the era of robotic surgery. Safety of care is the core principle for every operating room (OR) nurse. To ensure the best quality of care for our patients, we believe that learning curves on sophisticated equipment operation, manipulation of integrated OR table and skills utilization of pressure injury prevention can be shortened under experts' guidance.
In order to showcase some local Taiwanese culture, we have arranged a half-day tour of the Gaomei Wetland, which is around 9.8 Kilometers away from Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital. Featuring with a diverse of wildlife and the largest group of Bolboschoenus planieulmis in Taiwan, Gaomei Wetland is well known for the spectacular sunset and bird watching.
