We are delighted to invite you to the 2019 British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology Conference.

Food allergy crises, the tidal wave of suspected drug allergy and innovation for patients will be key themes running through our conference this year. We have invited a wide range of professionals, opinion leaders and lay experts to inform and broaden our horizons.

The 2019 meeting will be held at the Harrogate Convention Centre, at the heart of this charming Yorkshire town. We will kick off tackling the challenge of Undeclared Allergens from 10am on Thursday 3rd October 2019. Access to Harrogate is easy via road from the A1(M) and A1 and by public transport. Harrogate has rail connections to all major UK cities via Leeds (34 minutes) and York (33 minutes) including a direct, daily connection to London (3 hours 1 minute; the quickest journey time from London is 2 hours 43 minutes including a change at York; from May 2019 LNER trains will offer up to 14 trains per day from London). The closest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport, situated just 20 mins (12 miles) away.

The 2019 programme will cover a broad range of topics – food allergy, asthma, eczema, basic science, drug allergy, rhinology, immunotherapy, cutaneous allergy, component-resolved diagnosis, psychological well-being of patients, families and staff, and service improvement, amongst others. We are planning joint sessions with the British Association of Dermatologists, the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the British Society of Immunology, EAACI and the British Society for Cutaneous Allergy. We will have expert clinicians, basic scientists, primary care physicians, nurses and dieticians amongst our speakers.
