18. IWA World Conference on Anaerobic Digestion

We cordially welcome all participants to the 18th IWA World Conference on Anaerobic Digestion (IWA AD18) in Istanbul, Türkiye, on June 2-6, 2024. IWA AD18 Conference is one of the most important international events on anaerobic technologies, where the latest developments and innovations in the field of anaerobic technologies will be discussed.

Anaerobic technology is widely used as a low-cost method for waste treatment, and has gone beyond a strategy of wastewater treatment to an integrated method of waste-to-resource recovery. We seriously consider that improving anaerobic technology is crucial to create a more sustainable planet. The theme we have adopted “bridging waste to value through anaerobic digestion” is a direct reflection to emphasize the role of anaerobic digestion in sustainability.
