17. International Congress Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery-OSAPS 2020

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to welcome you to the 17th International Congress of the Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (OSAPS). This meeting will be held in conjunction with our 24th Annual Scientific Congress of the Malaysian Association of Plastic, Aesthetic and Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (MAPACS) and the inaugural meeting of the Rhinoplasty Society of Asia (RSA).

As the scientific programme takes shape, we aim to provide a comprehensive coverage of established topics, exploring contemporary issues whilst providing a glimpse of the future challenges that we face. And, as we pay homage to our predecessors in OSAPS for their contributions, we learned from their experiences, equipping ourselves to address the difficult issues ahead. Hence, the OSAPS congress theme of “Honouring our heritage, Engaging the future”. This programme will be of great educational benefit not only to experienced surgeons but also to the newly qualified surgeons and trainees. We have also set aside exciting social activities that will allow ample opportunity to establish and strengthen relationships within our fraternity. Our concurrent trade exhibition will ensure that you get updated with the most recent tools and innovative products of the trade.

Lastly, we are delighted to announce that all these activities will be held at The Eastern and Oriental Hotel in Penang, a heritage and magnificent venue, thematically befitting a congress set in the Pearl of the Orient. The island of Penang itself, is unique for its impressive heritage, charm and warm hospitality, offering a splendid destination for a relaxing vacation.
