It is our honor and privilege to invite you to the 17th Annual Congress of The Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons to be held from 7th – 9th February 2020 at Guwahati. This is the first time that such a mega event will be held in the North East of India. The North East has been less explored but it is a beautiful part of the country with warm hearted wonderful people.
Welcome to Guwahati, “The Gateway to the North-East India”. It is the biggest city in Assam and Northeast India, a major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India. It is situated between the banks of the Brahmaputra River and the foothills of the Shillong plateau. The Kamakhya temple in Guwahati is a popular temple dedicated to revered goddess Kamakhya, its beautiful architecture and the plethora of temples in its complex. The Guwahati region hosts diverse wildlife including rare animals such as Asian elephants, pythons, tigers, rhinoceros, gaurs, primate species, and endangered birds The conference will be attended by over 2000 delegates including invited galaxy of National & International Surgeons, Laparoscopic Surgeons, Gastro Intestinal Surgeons and PG students. Nearly 200-250 National & International faculties will share their knowledge & experience in the conference.
We are going to organize a conference so interesting that you will remember and cherish every moment of it for the rest of your life. We will have pre-conference workshops, lectures on current practices and newer horizons in MAS to keep you engrossed. Leading national and international faculty will be attending to enlighten everyone, and of course the cultural events will captivate you.
