Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we extend the warmest invitation to you to attend the 16th Biennial Meeting of the Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN) which will take place in Singapore, 14-16 December 2020, or APSN2020.
First and foremost, we have a packed 3-day scientific program which features 3 plenary speakers, namely (in alphabetical order) George Augustine, Schuichi Koizumi and Eng Lo, who are all leaders in their own field of research. More information about the speakers are available under Plenary Speakers.
In addition, the conference features many symposia on a variety of hot topics. You are invited to submit your own symposium proposal. There are also young investigator colloquia, free oral communications and poster presentations. Please see details on this website under the appropriate sections. We are confident that there will be ample high quality science in our program to cater to the broad interests of all the participants.
Science aside, you should have a great time while attending APSN2020. We have selected the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre as the conference venue, which is part of the Marina Bay Sands Resort located along the waterfront of central Singapore, featuring its three cascading hotel towers topped by the much-talked-about sky park with its infinity pool, ‘floating’ crystal pavilions, a lotus-inspired Museum, and many more. We have 50 rooms at this world renowned luxury hotel waiting for you at extraordinary rates on a first-come-first-served basis. But if you are unable to get one of these rooms, there are literally hundreds of hotels of all categories in the vicinity. Transport is both convenient and inexpensive in Singapore.
Finally, amid the busy conference schedule, we urge you to take time to enjoy the shopping and cuisines in the area around the convention centre and beyond. You will not be disappointed. Furthermore, while you are in Singapore especially after travelling a great distance from your home, you may consider exploring other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand before you make your journey home. There are so much to see and enjoy.
