Colleagues and friends,
It is truly honor to inform you that the 15th Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) Conference will be held on October 3rd - 5th 2019 in the island of gods, Bali, Indonesia. The theme chosen for this meeting is Hernia Surgery: Black and White and it will be jointly organize by Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) and Indonesian Hernia Society (IHS). This Important meeting will be joinlty organized by Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) and Indonesian Hernia Society (IHS). It is also proudly co-organized by International Endohernia Society (IEHS) and International Journal of Abdominal Wall and Hernia Surgery. It is a coincidence that it will be exactly 10 years ago back in October 2009, the 5th APHS has been held successfully in Bali, Indonesia. For those who attended the 5th APHS we hope you still remember this memorable meeting held in one of the most beautiful spot in the world.
We will make sure that the upcoming 15th APHS will be even bigger in term of participants number, highest quality of scientific program with today technology, advance hands-on workshop, live surgery, video session, debate sessions with international experts on board. All of these will create truly valuable meeting.
Aside from that, we will make sure you will have time to enjoy Bali with various social program. The Cultural Gala Dinner will features unique Balinese Performances, choreographed with the touch of contemporary art and music, held under Bali summer sky. Great entertainment, great food and amongst great friends. The Cultural Gala Dinner will be inclusive in the registration fee.
Indonesia and Bali progress significantly in this past 10 years. With the new international airport (DPS) and the sea side toll road it will takes you only 10 minutes drive from airport to the conference venue Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Nusa Dua. BNDCC and Nusa Dua area is the place where world leaders meet. Many international events were held there including the recent IMF Annual Meeting in October 2019. Another great news, since 2016 Indonesian government has granted 169 countries for tourist free visa. Please check the conference website for more details information.
One of our vision in the scientific committee is to provide wide access for high quality papers to be presented during this conference. Therefor we would like to invites as many as possible presenters to submit their abstract through uploading in conference website or sent via email [email protected].
