Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the EACPT Executive Committee and the Local Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 14th Congress of the European Association for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (EACPT2019), “Clinical pharmacology meets tomorrow´s health care challenges” in Stockholm, Sweden, from the 29th of June to the 2nd of July 2019.
For the congress in 2019, we believe that Stockholm is the ideal location, being one of the most beautiful and pleasant cities of Europe in midsummer. Also, Sweden has a very long history in the science of pharmacology, dating back to the days of Linnéus and Berzelius. With this congress, however, we aim to show the way forward, under the theme of “Clinical pharmacology meeting tomorrow´s health care challenges”.
Clinical pharmacologists have all the tools; from a molecular perspective on drug-target interaction, over individual patient and patient group needs, to epidemiological and global considerations for the safe and effective use of medicines. In this meeting, we will all come together and discuss how we can use these tools to solve the many challenges of modern health care, for the sake of our patients, today and tomorrow!
