11. Congress of The European Academy of Neurology-Seville 2025

Dear Colleagues, dear Friends,

I am thrilled to invite you to the 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology, which will lead us to the vibrant city of Seville on 21-24 June 2025.

Seville is the fourth largest city in Spain and the capital of the region of Andalucia. It is one of those very few cities in the world with which you will fall in love at first sight. Its seductive charm comes from centuries of many different overlapping cultures that have left their mark here. This long, rich and varied history makes Seville a unique experience for everybody. The city’s abundance of touristic opportunities, along with its modern outlook and fantastic infrastructure, make it an exciting destination for any visitor. I hope that, like me, you will be looking forward to making the most of it.

The EAN congress will embark on this Andalusian adventure with an innovative and intriguing Overarching Theme that will address ‘Neurology within society’. The topic particularly challenges our practice since our society impacts the progress, priorities, and relevance of neurology, and, conversely, neurology influences decisions and developments in society. This creates a highly complex and consequential set of interactions that affect all of us - professionals and patients alike. As usual, this theme will weave like a common thread throughout all of the invited content of our congress, from workshops to plenary sessions.

Personally, I cannot think of a more appropriate place to bask in the brilliance of neurology’s brightest minds and shed light on the latest developments and innovations in our specialty than in the dazzling sunshine of a Spanish summer.
